Burning Opera is now “pay-what-you-want”

Hello there!

Sorry for being quiet for months, but since Epimas I really had no update for this game. Now I finally decided to let Burning Opera be a “pay-what-you-want” game. If you really think it deserves it, you can go to the link under this post and buy it (eventually again) for the price you think it’s worth.

I got no feedback after the game was published, neither positive nor negative, so I really don’t know if you’ll be really interested in paying for it, but here it is:

Thank you ^^

P.S.: this will be probably the last post ever about Burning Opera.

Gunslinger is out!

Gunslingers front

Finally, I got Gunslinger to be published. Previews are disabled/not working for now due to an issue that will be fixed soon (my fault).

Gunslingers soon to be published

Image

A bunch of old Gunslingers meet in the main square, right in front of Holy River’s clock tower, to settle some scores. Only one will survive… who will be?

This is how Gunslingers begins. But what’s Gunslingers exactly?

Gunslingers is NOT a Role Play Game. I wanted to make a modular nano-game that could be kept on a bunch of cards (2 max) and I ended up with a cute party game that will probably make you laugh and have tons of fun! Draw cards, shoot your friends (well, not for real…) and see who’s the hardest to die.

You just need these simple rules, written on just 2 playing cards (yes, that small, but it’s still readable, I promise!) a poker deck, a bunch of tokens, and it’s done!

Gunslingers will be soon available on drivethrucards.com for just 2$ (now it’s in pending approval). If you buy it on there you’ll get an expansion set for free!

Stay tuned!

Epimas is upon us!

chaos-epimas1

Hello there, dear readers!

It has been since August I didn’t write anything about Burning Opera. I just let the game spread all over the world, but I’m still waiting some feedback from nearly 250 owners of the game (well, not everyone!).

Anyways, I have a big news for you all: Epimas is upon us!

But… what’s Epimas? As stated by Epidiah Ravachol, the coordinator and founder of this great idea:

Epimas is the traditional holiday that celebrates the playing of games. Occuring on December 24th of each year, those who observe it tend to be happier, live longer and have whiter teeth.

Starting as low as 5$ (the more you pay the more you get), you can gift to a friend a digital copy of a table-top RPG  randomly picked in a list of 19, amazing and valuable indie products, such as Grey Ranks, Misspent Youth, Montsegur 1244, Psi*Run and Poison’d and many others! Beware that, for every gift you do, you’ll also get another, randomly picked one! Games will be delivered, as the Epimas tradition, the 24th of December.

Finally, just in case this is not enough for you, there will be 8 “stocking-stuffers”, games which will be added with every purchase, for free! And guess what? Burning Opera is included!

Every game is worth more than 5$, and Epimas is pretty close, so…

…what are you waiting for?

Numbers are cool, but people are cooler

Again, I show you what happened these days after Burning Opera was published here on the site and recently, od drivethrurpg.com :

Burning Opera statistics

50 copies sold in about 3 days and 77 download from the drive in less than 2 weeks. Means a total of 127 copies, around the world, in your PC, in your tablet, maybe printed out and just laying next to you, on your desk! Numbers are cool, but you, people, you out there are cooler. Justthanks to you I could make this project happen and spread literally all over the world, from Hong Kong to USA, from Australia to South Africa. I missed only Antartica (maybe it’s to cold there to light up a candle :P).

Hope you’re already enjoying this game, I just need feedback on it,

cheers!
